Are you ready to embark on a transformative journey in the field of Psychosocial Counseling? Our six-month training course is designed to empower you with the skills and knowledge you need to make a difference in the lives of individuals facing mental health challenges.

Six month training course on Psychosocial Counseling is based on participatory learning and primarily based on skill learning. Participants will be placed on different organizations and homes to practice their learned skills. Both theoretical and practical knowledge and skills will be provided by the skilled psychologists and trained/professional counselors.This is taught both in person and in virtual session with intensive in person training (Individual from all over Nepal can enroll through this model)

The objectives of this training are as follow:

Provide knowledge on Psychosocial and mental health problems with theoretical explanation
Develop skills with a focus on psychosocial counseling
Develop skills on Assessment, Diagnosis and help to solve the problem
Impart knowledge and skill on psychosocial counseling
Make participants able to provide counseling in different settings and context

Module: 2: Counseling Skill and Process
Module: 3: Psychosocial Intervention
Module: 4: Case Management
Module: 5: Capacity Building(facilitation skill working in communities)

The course is intended for for development practitioners, NGO Professionals, Social Activist
and Students completed at least Intermediate level education.

1st In-house Training	Up to supportive counselling, using & practice basic communication skills
1st Placement	Applying skill and process for identifying client and core problem with symptom management
2nd In-house Training	Culture and counselling, advance skill and problem solving
2nd Placement	Applying skill and process for solving problem
3rd In-house Training	Special issues and facilitating skills
3rd Placement	Applying Skills (Case management and Facilitating)
4th In-house Training	Monitoring, Supervision, Professional skills, Documentation and Reporting
