Completion of Training Module on GBV Training of Trainers on GBV completed on GBV
Coalition for Training for Research and Development Pvt Ltd developed Training module on GBV.The assignment lasted for one month started from 24 Dec 2020 –23 January. As a part of th assignment based on the developed training module ToT Training’ was organized in Hotel Pashupati, Rautahat from 17 – 19 – Feb, 2021.
There were total of 19 participants in the training including police, officials of local level and local representative. The major objectives of training were to apply and test developed training manual on GBV and further enhance facilitation and training skills of staffs of Implementing Partner of Islamic Relief Worldwide Nepal. The feedback received from the training was incorporated in manual at the end and manual was finalized.
In addition the training enabled these staff to give similar training at their placement to targeted groups of projects.,
The training was conducted by Coalition for Training Research and Development Pvt ltd (CTRaDe) as part of field test of prepared Training manual on GBV by CTRaDe with support of Islamic Relief Worldwide Nepal. The 3 days training was facilitated by Mr.BikashThapa,Kishor Kumar Thapa and ArunaKoju(Co Trainer). Likewise, Advocate Mr.AftabAlam, representative from District Legal Aid Committee were invited local Resource Person
The training day training was ended with closing ceremony. Closing Ceremony was chaired by President of RDC Rautahat and Moderated by Project Coordinator Ms, RupaUdas. Certificates were provided to all participants of the event. During ceremony Facilitator Team extended gratitude to all participants, RDC Team and IRW Team for support and coordination .Likewise, 2 representatives from participant shared their views regarding training event and closing ceremony ended.
The training helped the participants to learn in detail about the GBV, case management process along with giving them a clarity on psycho social care and referral mechanism. They also expressed that the training helped them know better about their roles in the protection sector.
